Trauma

What constitutes a traumatic event differs from person to person and the experience following the event is volatile. People who have experienced a traumatic event may suffer from anger, anxiety, PTSD, or guilt, along with avoidance of situations related to the traumatic event.

How We Can Help

We provide a safe, non-judgmental space to facilitate growth and healing. Therapy can help with the processing, understanding, and management of the distressing, impairing experiences associated with trauma. Techniques such as Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy can be effective in reducing symptoms of individuals who have experienced trauma.
